The Field Station strives to facilitate an exchange between visiting residency artists and the surrounding environment. 

We support, inform and motivate artists to reflect on the vulnerability of the Arctic and thereby understand the climate emergency and the natural biodiversity crisis, encouraging them to engage in the central issue of our time.

This may take the form of how they make their work, how they think about their work or even influence the content of the work itself.
